Lottie Gertrude Huebsch, 59, died at Mercy hospital in Waverly on March 11, 1953, after a long illness. She was born June 09, 1893 at Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William and Barbara Marie Haering Gleason. On February 06, 1919 she married Michael Huebsch at Monticello, Iowa. They have lived for the past 22 years in Cedar Rapids where her chief interests were painting, drawing, flowers and birds. She had a high school education and was a life long member of the Lutheran church.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael Huebsch of Cedar Rapids; her brother, Edward H. Gleason of Seattle, Wash.; and her twin sister, Sister Barbara Gleason of Mercy hospital in Waverly. Also an aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth McDonald of Waverly.

Funeral services were held in the Emmanuel Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. John F. Wipperman of Cedar Rapids in charge of the service. Interment was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
