Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Fehlhafer of Garnavillo were held at 1:30 on Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Garnavillo. The Rev. Urlaub, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Garnavillo cemetery.
Mrs. Fehlhafer was born March 17, 1869, in Mecklenburg, Germany and came to the United States when she was 12 years old. She married the late Charles Fehlhafer April 07, 1895. She had lived in Garnavillo since 1912. Mrs. Fehlhafer died at her home on Tuesday March 10, 1953. She had reached the age of 83 years, 11 months and 23 days at the time of her death.
Surviving are four brothers: Charles Miller, Garnavillo; Otto Miller, Elma; Fred Miller, Manila; and Ernest Miller, Charles City. She was preceded by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.

G.
