Funeral services for Edward Delos Easton were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Gill funeral chapel in Strawberry Point, with the Rev. Wayne Carlson officiating.

Edward Easton was born Dec. 08, 1877, at Strawberry Point, the son of Joshua and Caroline (King) Easton. He was married June 20, 1906, to Ada Belle Brandenburg at Littleport, and they lived their entire life in the Strawberry Point community. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, two sons, one daughter, one brother and four sisters. Survivors include his four children: Mrs. Burdeen (Lucille) Friedley, Edgewood; Mrs. Melvin (Evelyn) Storbeck, Grinnell; Lloyd of Strawberry Point and Lauren of Garber. There are also 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
