Extracted from the Army Correspondence column, from the 9th IA ..... "Near Franklin, Mo., Jan 6, 1862 ... deaths Lyman Sargeant, Corporal from Cox Creek, died in Nov. of typhoid fever ... and Warren Foles [sic] of Boardman township ... on the 25th of Dec.
