Clayton County Register, 29 Oct. 1941.

LUANA: Friends and former neighbors received word Saturday evening that Mrs. Otto Dietrich died at the Grand View hospital in LaCrosse, Wis., about one o'clock Saturday morning, Oct. 25, where she had been the past two weeks for treatment. The remains were brought to her home near Garnavillo Sunday. The funeral is to be held from the home to the Lutheran Church at Garnavillo Monday afternoon. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and two sons, Erwin Dietrich and family of near Garnavillo, and Arthur Dietrich and family of near Decorah. Also she leaves sisters and brothers.
