James LeRoy McMillin, young son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis McMillin, died at the University hospital in Iowa City following an illness of only three days, October 16th.
He was born here in Elkader on August 08th, 1939, and besides his mother and father is survived by one brother, Ronald.
Funeral services were held in the Witt Funeral chapel here last Saturday forenoon at ten o'clock and burial was made in the Pleasant Grove cemetery at McGregor with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. P. Taken, Elkader, and the Rev. Father Horsefield, McGregor, officiating.
Casket-bearers were Kenneth Wilke, Donald Rodas, Billy Hoover and Clark Palas.
