Alfred F. Siegele, 85, retired farmer, died Sunday evening in the Prairie du Chien, Wis., hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty Reeg of Monona and Judy Rodenberg of Marquette; a son, James of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services; 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural McGregor. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Thornburg's.

Alfred F. Siegele, 85, life long resident of McGregor, died July 5, 1987, at Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien.
He was born July 10, 1901, in McGregor to Fred and Emily Flexman Siegele. He married Alice Carlson on December 9, 1929, in Cedar Rapids. The couple farmed and retired in 1976. Alice died in 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carlyle (Betty) Reeg, Monona and Mrs. Frank (Judy) Rodenberg, Marquette; one son, James of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren; and sic great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, July 8, 1:30 p.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church on Swede Ridge, with pastor Dan Christensen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Thornburg Funeral Home, McGregor, was in charge of arrangements.
