Clayton County Register, 19 Mar. 1941.

GARNAVILLO: Clint Carrier, 67, died last Monday at his home here after a long illness resulting from Asthma and dropsy.

Funeral services were held here on Thursday from the funeral home with burial in Strawberry Point cemetery.

Mr. Carrier was born August 08, 1873, at Strawberry Point, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Carrier. He was married, December 23, 1896, to Catherine Harberg and they made their home in Strawberry Point.

Several years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Carrier moved here to care for Mrs. Carrier's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Harberg and Mr. Carrier worked as a cabinet maker.

The deceased is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. A. H. Frick of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Mrs. M. J. Eggert of Leavenworth, Kansas, and one son, Clyde Carrier of Strawberry Point. Seven grandchildren survive. One sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
