Funeral services were held on Dec. 28th, for Henry C. Schultz at the late home with burial in the Mount Harmony cemetery near Elkport. The Rev. C. P. Schrupp of Garber officiated.
Henry C. Schultz, son of Charles and Emma Schultz, was born in Elk township this county, on October 27, 1862 and died on December 26, at the age of 78 years, one month and 29 days. Death came as a welcome release to his suffering due to a lingering illness since last August.
He was married to Lena Krieg, October 13, 1892, and to this union six children were born: Charles of Garber, where the deceased made his home; Josie (Mrs. Elmer Boehm) of Elkport; Rosa of Garber, and Eva (Mrs. Emil Boehm) of Elkport; two children died in infancy.
Besides the aforementioned children and wife, he leaves to mourn his death two grandsons and two granddaughters, many relatives and a host of friends.
