MONONA: Funeral service for Phillip A. McNeff who died Friday morning were held Sunday afternoon at 12:45 from the home and at one o'clock from the local Methodist church, with the Rev. Harley W. Farnham officiating and burial was made in the city cemetery.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Jessie McNeff and three daughters - Mrs. Margaret Betchum of New Hampton, Mrs. Marian Huetter of Calamus and Mrs. Ruth Davenport of Monona. One daughter, Miss Beatrice McNeff preceded him in death. Three grandsons also survive him.
Mr. McNeff was an agent at the railway station for many years. His life was devoted to his family. He enjoyed long walks with his wife and daughters. His grandsons were his pride and not many hours before his death his grandson David Davenport was in his arms.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended Mrs. McNeff and daughters.
