Thomas Edward Meese, 44, of Edgewood died Sunday, Oct. 18, at Delaware County Memorial hospital in Manchester, following a long illness. Services were held today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic church in Edgewood with the Rev. Joseph Kissling officiating. Burial was in St. Mark's Catholic cemetery in Edgewood.

He was born Aug. 24, 1937 at Clayton, the son of Oscar and Kathleen (Madden) Meese. He graduated from Edgewood high school in 1954. His occupation was the training of horses.

Survivors are a son, Michael Meese, and a daughter, Vicky Meese, both of Manchester; his mother, Kathleen Meese of Edgewood; a brother, Terry Meese of Edgewood, and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar, in 1976 and by his grandparents.

Appleton-Vernon funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
