Mrs. Charles Hinsch, St., died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Mohrman, at Monona. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutheran church at Farmersburg.

Clayton County Register, Thursday, March 28, 1926Mrs. Emilie Hinsch, daughter of Henry and Caroline Bothmer, was born near Strawberry Point July 17, 1857, and that year was baptized at the St. Sebald Lutheran church. Later the family moved to Clayton, where she attended school and grew to womanhood.
On June 17, 1875 she was married to Charles Hinsch. They came directly to Farmersburg and established their home. Eight children were born to them, one of whom died in infancy, and the oldest, Henry, died Nov. 14, 1945.
Those surviving are Mrs. Claudia Meier, Monona; Charles and Arthur of McGregor; Mrs. Adele Coon of Van Horne; Mrs. Alma Hemrick of Temple City, Calif.; Mrs. Eva Mohrman of Monona; also 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She became affiliated with the Lutheran church at Farmersburg and was an active member of the Ladies Aid until failing health forced her to give it up. She was the last of a family of seven children.
Her husband preceded her in death, Oct. 19, 1932.
Mr. and Mrs. Hinsch celebrated their golden wedding anniversary June 17, 1925, at which time all of their children and grandchildren were present.
She died at 3:30 p.m., March 19, at the home of her daughter, Eva, with whom she has made her home the past eleven years.
Funeral services wee held at the Mohrman home at 1:30 p.m. Friday and at St. John's Lutheran church at Farmersburg at 2. Burial was in the Farmersburg and Wagner cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Henry Kruse, Otto Fuelling Carl Gall, Ed Johnson, Arno Oelke, and James Mathews.
