Funeral services for George A. Sheppard were held in Kenyon , Minn., and at the Schultz funeral home in Monona, with H. W. Raduege of the Eangelical church officiating.
Burial was in the Evangelical cemetery in Wagner township.
George A. Sheppard, a son of John Sheppard and Elizabeth Henkes Sheppard, was born Dec. 26, 1862 on a farm in Wagner township, Clayton county, Iowa, where he lived until he moved to Goodhue County, Minn., and lived on a farm near Kenyon, in that state.
He became ill and was taken to St. Luke's hospital in Faribault, Minn., where he died Feb. 12, 1946.
He was the last of a family of eleven children and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. A nephew, Roy Sheppard, has lived with him for the last eight years.
Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Donald Duke accompanied by Mrs. H. W. Raduege.
Pall bearers were George Kishman, Saward Henkes, Farley Henkes, Roy Saacke, Oscar Morch, and Roy Sheppard.
