DIED. On Sunday, Jan. 9th, at 3 P.M. in McGregor, Iowa, of Consumption, Mrs. Susie E., wife of J.C. Luce and daughter of Miles Boyle, of this city, aged 17 yrs. 1 mo. and 24 days.

It is but a few weeks since we published a notice of her marriage. Her life was then despaired of, but it was the desire of all interested that the union should be consummated.

The body of the late young wife left McGregor, per Express, on Monday evening, accompanied by the bereaved husband and sad-hearted father for Erie, Pa.

Our friend Boyle tells us that this last treasure makes seven of his family whose bodies will rest in the Erie Cemetery. He had hardly returned from the burial of his wife 'til Death summoned him to witness the interment of a most graceful daughter in the same church-yard.

Words can not express the sympathy we feel for husband, father and surviving relatives. The deceased was a favorite of all who knew her.
