On Saturday Sept. 16th, 1905, occured the funeral of Mr. Felix Randall near Littleport in this county. He was a brother of Mr. Jos. Randall and was here on a visit from Huntley, Ill.; and was suddenly taken with the illness which caused his death.

Mr. Randall was among the first settlers in Clayton County having come here with his brother about fifty years ago. From here he went to Missouri where he lived for a number of years and afterward removed to Illinois.

The funeral was held at the home of his brother, Rev. O.C. DePuy officiating and interment was in the cemetery at Cox Creek.
