Funeral services for Mrs. Adolph Olson, 65, were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at home and at 2 o'clock at Norway church. The Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated. Burial was in the Norway cemetery.

Mrs. Olson died suddenly of a cerebral hemmorage Nov. 25 at 8 o'clock a.m.

Ruth Olson, the daughter of Ole and Kari Wold, was born in Wagner township, April 16, 1885 where her brother Theodore now lives.

She was baptized May 10, 1885 and confirmed in the Norway church, Sept. 02, 1900.

She was united in marriage to Adolph Olson, Oct. 28, 1909. They settled in Gunder and later went farming on the Thomas Peterson farm for a short time and later moved to the Andrew Wold farm where they have resided for 35 years. To them were born two children, Mrs. Curtis Engelhardt (Ruby) of Elkader and Kenneth at home.

She was a life long member of the Norway church and also a member of the Ladies Aid.

Survivors are her husband, two children and two grandchildren, Don and Carroll Engelhardt, three brothers and two sisters, Andrew and Theodore Wold of St. Olaf and Ben of Gunder, Mrs. Louie Rierson (Elvina), of Elgin, Mary Embretson of St. Olaf and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Olavus and John.

The pallbearers were nephews: Burdett Wold, Randolph Reierson, Lorando Embretson, Walde Embretson, Realto Wold and Clifford Wold.
