Committal services for Ransom George Meisner, 52, were conducted at the East Side cemetery at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 02. The Rev. Herbert Kelly officiated.

Ransom George Meisner was born at Elkader, November 13, 1898 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rheinholt Meisner. He lived on a farm near Elkader until fourteen years ago when he moved to Prairie du Chien, Wis., where he lived until his death July 30, 1950. He was married to Jeanette Williams March 12, 1937, who survives him. Other survivors are a step-daughter, Elaine Dudley and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers were: Francis Meisner, Art Meisner, Harold Meisner, Chas. Wagner, Robert West and Francis West.
