Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Nading, 78, were conducted here Wednesday afternoon in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kill at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Kitterer of Elkader in charge.
Mrs. Nading was a resident of Littleport for many years and passed away Monday morning about 9 o'clock, after a short illness in the home of her daughter Mrs. Tom White at Guttenberg.
Burial was in Union cemetery.
Pallbearers were: H. H. Liddy, Don Liddy, Carl Dahling, Wm. Dahling, Ray Hughes and Clarence Kuehl.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Nading, 78, were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kill in Littleport at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 22. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Burial was in the Union cemetery at Littleport.
Mrs. Nading died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tom White, at Guttenberg March 20, following a brief illness.
Lena Stalnaker, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stalnaker, was born in Strawberry Point Aug. 11, 1871. On Aug. 26, 1889, at Elkader, she was married to Harrison Nading of Littleport. Their entire married life was spent in the Littleport community. They were privileged to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 26, 1939.
For the past three years Mrs. Nading had made her home at Guttenberg.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Thomas White, Guttenberg, Merle Nading, Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. Harold Moser, Osterdock; two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Meder, Elkader, and Mrs. Wm. Brinkhouse, Farnam, Nebr., and eleven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
