Funeral services were held Saturday for Mr. Wiliam Reichart, 72, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. J. Ellison at Rock Island, Ill. Her death was the result of cerebral thrombosis.
Laura Lange was born at Mederville, Ia., Feb. 28, 1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lange. On her birthday, 1893, she was married in Littleport to Wm. Reichart, who survives her with her only daughter Grace, Mrs. Ellison.
Mrs. Reichart became ill last January and several months ago went to live with her daughter.
Other survivors are one grandchild, now at Great Lakes Naval training station; a sister, Mrs. Gus Mentzel, Elkader; two brothers, Hugo Lange, Los Angeles, Calif., and Ray Lange of Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Reichart was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, and Ladies' Aid society and was at one time superintendent of her Sunday school.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. H. Guetzloff at the Hope Lutheran church at Littleport. Burial was in Union cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Reugnitz, Harry Refle, Ray Hughes, Ad Thine, Don Liddy and Joe Beck.
