Funeral services were held Tuesday Nov. 03 at 10 o'clock at Sacred Heart church here for Mrs. Harold Krieg, 40, who died early Sunday morning, Nov. 01 at her home here following a week's illness.

Rev. Alex Hetherington of Clarion, a former pastor, celebrated the Requiem High Mass and also spoke a few comforting words.

The Rev. D. T. Noonan, present pastor, played and sang the Requiem, assisted by Duane O'Brien and Donald Lamphier. Father Noonan also read the prayers at the graveside, assisted by Father Hetherington.

Anna Marie Conboy was born on Feb. 10, 1902 at Volga City, the oldest _____ of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Conboy and grew to womanhood in this community. She graduated from the local high school and later attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls, Coe college at Cedar Rapids and the Teachers college at Winona, Minn. For several years she taught various schools in Clayton county and in the public school at Kamrar, Iowa.

On Sept. 03, 1930, she was married to Harold Krieg, who survives, also one daughter _it_ Marie; her father and stepmother; a sister, Mrs. Zita Humbert, and brother William Conboy, all of Volga City. Also a number of cousins, uncles and aunts, and a large circle of friends are left to mourn her passing. Her mother and brother, Earl Conboy, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Krieg was a faithful member of the Catholic church, the Alter society, Rosary society, Sacred Heart league, Sacred Heart Study club also was treasurer and secretary of the Rosary society. She also was an active member of the Volga Study Club and at the time of her death was clerk of Sperry township.

Her casket bearers were Leo Little, Maurice Minihan, William P. Smith, William W. Wenger, Tim C. H___ey, and Emmett Thyne. Burial was in the Sacred Heart cemetery, Volga City.
