Clayton County Register, 06 May 1942.
GARBER: Martha Marie Schrader, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schrader was born on March 30, 1907, and died in the hospital at Woodward, Iowa, on Saturday, April 25 at 11:30 a.m.
Funeral services were held from the Fred Schrader home at Garber to the Lutheran church at Elkport. Burial was beside her parents in the Lutheran cemetery. Rev. Albert Guetzloff officiated at the services.
Pallbearers were six cousins of the decased: Louis, John, William, Marvin, Pfc. Raymond and Lavern Kuehl.
She is survived by two brothers, Henry of Monticello and Fred of Garber and one sister, Doris of Dubuque.
A Card of Thanks was signed by: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schrader and Stanley; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schrader, Lila and Duane; Doris Schrader.
