Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Bartlett were held at the Gill Chapel Friday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Vernon Benson, pastor of the Congregational church. Burial was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

As a daughter of Ashley W. and Fannie Gleason, she was born in DeKalb county, Illinois, on March 22, 1860, and died Wednesday morning at her home following a heart attack.

On Feb. 24, 1899, she was married to Elmer E. Bartlett, who died Nov. 22, 1940. Surviving are one son Clair F. of Strawberry Point, two step-daughters, Mrs. Grace Farrar of New York City, and Mrs. Laura Henderson of Manchester, also one sister, Mrs. Lee (Emma) Wing of Strawberry Point.
