Clayton County Register, 25 Feb. 1942.
ELKPORT: Funeral services for Robert Martin Hansel, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hansel of Fairview, Ia., were held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 15, at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ellege, at Colesburg, Ia., with Rev. Stearn and Rev. Gentz officiating at the ceremony. Burial was made in the Brown cemetery near Colesburg.
He was born Feb. 13 and died the following day at the Iowa City hospital. Surviving are his parents, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ellege and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hansel, and a host of other relatives.
