Elkader - Funeral services are pending for an Elkader businessman, Gust G. Olson, 72, who died unexpectedly Sunday night of a heart attack.

Mr. Olson, owner of Olson Sash and Door factory here, and his wife were returning on slippery roads from visiting relatives near Elkader when he became very ill. The couple decided to stop and flag a car going into Elkader to take them the rest of the way.

The John Miller family of Elkader, passersby, stopped and picked up the Olson's and Mr. Olson died two miles outside of the city.

Mr. Olson had been in business in Elkader approximately 35 years.
