Wm. A. H. Walthers, 67-year-old painter and paper hanger, died shortly before noon Tuesday following a stroke which occurred about 10:30 that morning while he was at his work at the convent of the Presentation Sisters. Mr. Walthers was taken to his home where he died an hour later.

Funeral services will be held at the Walther's Home at 1:30 Friday afternoon, and at the Frieden's Evangelical church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paul Kitterer will officiate. Burial will be in the East Side cemetery.
