The death of Mrs. Daniel Conley, the former Helen Croft of Kentucky, occurred Friday evening, July 27.
Helen Craft was born in Hopkinsville, Ky., Jan. 31, 1911. Oct. 28, 1943, she was married to Pfc. Daniel Conley and they lived in Kentucky until February, 1945, when Daniel was sent overseas.
Survivors are her husband, her father, five sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Hopkinsville, Ky., Monday, July 30. The Rev. Boemickel officiated at the requiem mass.
The body was accompanied to Iowa, by her sister, her niece, also Mr. John Conley, Mrs. Harold Conley and Mrs. Dan Scully.
Burial was in St. Michael's cemetery, Garber, Tuesday, July 31. The Rev. McEnaney said the prayers at the graveside.
The pallbearers were: John, Harold and Raymond Conley, Dan Scully, Michael McTaggart, and John Conley of Colesburg.
