We are informed that on Friday last, Mrs. Leonard Pickle, who resides with her husband about four miles west of this city in Mendon township, attempted to destroy her life by taking a large dose of corrosive sublimate. She was treated by Dr. Martin, and at the time o going to press we understand there is reasonable hope of her recovery.
