DIED. In Giard Township Clayton Co., Iowa, on the 21st inst., Polly M., wife of J.M. Marsh and daughter of L.G. and Prudence Collins, aged 27 years and 7 months.

The deceased leaves a husband and child, and a large circle of friends to mourn her early departure.

Note: Her gravestone in the Giard cemetery: Maria, wife of J.M. Marsh, died July 21, 1861
