Miss Louise Cassutt died at 1:50 Thursday morning at her home here, following a short illness. Funeral arrangements are pending word from her sister, Miss Frances Cassutt, R.N., of San Diego, Calif.

Funeral services for Miss Louise Cassutt, who died early Thursday morning at her home here, were held early Thursday morning, March 19. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. James P. Taken celebrated the requiem high mass. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Miss Cassutt had arrived home Tuesday evening from Rochester, Minn., where she had been receiving medical treatment. Her death came as a shock to her family and friends.
Louise Mary Cassutt, the daughter of Joseph and Johannah Cassutt, was born in Elkader, Oct. 02, 1892. She received her education in the parochial school of Elkader and at St. Mary's academy at Prairie du Chien, Wis.
She was employed for a number of years at the Bink Mercantile company in Elkader. For the past several years she and her brother George have been operating the home farm.
She was a member of St. Joseph's parish.
Surviving are two brothers, Leo and George, both of Elkader, and one sister, Miss Frances Cassutt, R.N., of San Diego, Calif..
Pallbearers were: Stephen Donlon, Azel Pratt, Elmer Dennler, Harold Downey, Ben Meyers and John Noggle.
