Clayton County Register, 23 Nov. 1944. McGregor column.

Funeral services were held at Hardy, Iowa, Friday afternoon for Nathan Carr, 77, who died here at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Ferguson, with whom he has made his home since his wife's death about a year ago. Burial was at Hardy.
