Funeral services and burial were held here Tuesday for a former resident, Hugh Milton Pugh who died Nov. 09, at Tacoma, Wash. He was the son of Fremont and Stella Pugh, born at Strawberry Point Aug. 14, 1894. On Aug. 21, 1921, he was married to Evelyn La Pointe. He had been away from here 23 years. Survivors are the widow and three sisters, Mrs. May Debes of Chicago, Mrs. Gregor Debes of Strawberry Point, and Mrs. Dorothy Tinker, Dubuque. The Rev. R. Park Anderson was in charge of the services. Music was furnished by Mrs. Jennie Howard and Dr. R. W. Dutton, accompanied by Mrs. Lloyd Kramer. Casket bearers were Ellsworth Carnicle, Verne Debes, Ernest Kellogg, Ray Kellogg, Clarence Pugh and Warren Pugh.
