Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Grossman, 73, who died Sunday evening at 10:30 following a stroke, were held at 2 o'clock yesterday at the Witt chapel with the Rev. S. E. Birkner of Garber officiating. Mrs. Grossman suffered a stroke while on her way to attend church Sunday morning and she died without regaining consciousness.

As Charlotte Radzio, she was born in East Prussia, Germany, Jan. 31, 1871. She came to this country in July 1910 with her three children by her first marriage to Karl Kaja. She was married the same year to Albert Grossman and they resided on a farm near here until last year when they retired from farming and moved to Elkader.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Lewis Gamm of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Fred Steen of Elkader, and one son, Wm. Kaja, of Lamont; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four sisters and one brother in Germany.

Pallbearers were Fred Eggiman, Albert Breitsprecher, Gottfried Herman, Wm. Mohr, Otto Szemkus and George Bente.
