Clayton County Register, 19 Oct. 1944.

MEDERVILLE: Valerie Andrea Debes, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Debes of Mederville, died Sunday Oct. 08, after a few days illness of pneumonia.

She was born Sept. 10, 1944, and had reached the age of 28 days. Burial was in the Mederville cemetery, Tuesday, the Rev. Anderson officiating.

Surviving are her parents; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nading of Mederville; James Debes of Cox Creek and Mrs. Mae Debes of Chicago; her great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sylvester of Littleport, besides other relatives.
