MCGREGOR: Funeral services were conducted Wednesday for Stewart Ellenbolt, __, who died at his home here Monday, Feb. 07, after an illness of several months. The services which were conducted by the Rev. E. H. Shuey, were held in the Pilkington funeral parlors and burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

He was born in Elkader March 16, 1880, the oldest son of Retus and Mary Ellenbolt. He was married Dec. 31, 1913, to Mabel Debes of McGregor and farmed near here for 15 years. Since moving to McGregor, Mr. Ellenbolt had been caretaker of the city parks.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Howard Danford, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Tayek of Monona, and Mrs. Milbert Haugen of Marquette, and three brothers, Retus of McGregor, Fred of Blue River, Wis., and Roy of Green Bay, Wis.
