Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kafer, Mrs. Tom Madden, H.H. Liddy, E.C. Pust and J.P. Zapf attended the funeral of the former's brother, Joseph Kafer at Oelwein Wednesday morning.

Mr. Kafer was born at Littleport 52 years ago and resided here for many years.

He is survived by his wife Leah and four children, Leo of Manchester, Eileen of Washington, D.C., Louise of Oelwein and Keith of the Navy.

Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery at Littleport.

Death of Joe Kafer
Joseph Kafer, Oelwein, died last week at Mercy hospital at the age of [illegible]. He was born at Littleport, July ?, 1893. His wife, two daughters and two sons survive. One of the sons, Keith, is in the navy. Funeral services were held Wednesday of last week.
