Clayton County Register, 13 Jan. 1944.

Private funeral services for Lou Ann, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Marting of St. Olaf, were held at the Witt funeral chapel Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The Rev. S. J. Strandjord of St. Olaf officiated. Burial was made in the Garnavillo cemetery.

The child died Sunday, Jan. 09, at the Lenth hospitals, where she was born Friday, Jan. 07. Besides her parents she is survived by one brother, Eldon.
