Friedlein - Schlitter marriage - 1953

At the Pilgrim Evangelical United Brethren church in Monona, June 29, occurred the marriage of Miss Dorothy Ann Schlitter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert L. A. Schlitter, and Emil A. Friedlein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman J. Friedlein of McGregor. The Rev. A. W. Ebert, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Floyd H. Friedlein of McGregor served her sister as matron of honor. Miss Alice Schlitter was a bridesmaid. Herbert Friedlein of Farmersburg served his brother as best man, and a groomsman was Buford Friedlein of Colesburg. David Schlitter of Monona was an usher.

The bride is a graduate of the Monona high school, and Mr. Friedlein attended the McGregor schools. After July 13 the couple will be at home on a farm near Monona.
