On June twenty-first, Miss Ruth Jean Beck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Beck of Edgewood, became the bride of Adam Meidinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Meidinger of Streeter, N.D. Rev. F. W. Tillmanns officiated at the Hope Lutheran church, Littleport, Iowa. Maid of honor was Miss Marilyn Rodas of Strawberry Point, friend of the bride. Best man was Mr. William Biedermann of Mason City, friend and classmate of the groom. Donna Meidinger, sister of the groom, lit the candles before the ceremony, and ushers were Lyle Beck and Albert Meidinger, brothers of the bride and groom.
At the reception Mrs. LeRoy Glawe, sister of the bride, cut the cake. She was assisted by Mrs. Gerald Beck, sister-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Vallie Hilderbrandt, aunt of the bride presided at the punch bowl.
Mrs. Meidinger is a graduate of Edgewood high school and has been attending the University of Dubuque. The groom is a graduate of Streeter high school, Streeter, N.Dak., and Wartburg college, Waverly, Iowa. He was graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, on May twenty-seventh.
After a short honeymoon in Wisconsin, the couple will return to the groom's home where he will be ordained to the ministry of the Lutheran church. The couple's home will be in Halliday, N.Dak., where the groom will be pastor of the St. John's Lutheran church.
