Miss Barbara Ann Palmer, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Palmer of Monona, became the bride of Irving A. Horns, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Horns, also of Monona, at St. Paul's Lutheran church, June 08. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated. The couple were attended by friends, and Roger Palmer, brother of the bride, and William Buerger, cousin of the groom, served as ushers.
At the reception, Mrs. Veryl Wilson, aunt of the bride, cut the cake, and many of the bride's classmates served as waitresses. Glenita Palmer, sister of the bride, had charge of the guest book. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Lakeside Ballroom in Guttenberg for a large group of relatives and friends.
Following a wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park, the couple will be at home on the farm of the groom's parents northeast of Monona.
