Peace Evangelical and Reformed church was the setting Sunday afternoon, Aug. 04, for the wedding of Miss Bernadine Seifert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Seifert, and Lt. Wayne Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peterson of St. Olaf. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Mavis Peterson, sister of the groom, played nuptial music before and during the ceremony. Mrs. Rollin Possehl was her sister's matron of honor, and the little Miss Kathryn Eggiman, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. Ringbearer was Allen Peterson, nephew of the groom. Harold Peterson served his brother as best man. Rollin Possehl and Kenneth Lemka served as ushers.
At the reception in the church parlors for 250 guests, a four tiered white wedding cake was served and Mrs. Elmer Eggimann, sister of the bride, and Miss Joanne Bergan, cousin of the groom, poured. Miss Erma Eggimann cut the wedding cake, and Miss Mary Lucille Eckheart, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book.
The bride taught the past two years in the Strawberry Point grade school. The groom is stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. After Aug. 13, Lt. and Mrs. Peterson will reside at 206 Clark St. Warrensburg, Mo.
