Corell - Brecht marriage - 1957

STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Beverly Brecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Brecht of Strawberry Point, and Jack E. Corell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Corell of Dubuque, were married by Justice of the Peace R. W. Schug, Friday, May 31. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Werger, also of Strawberry Point. The groom's grandmother and the bride's parents were present for the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and has been employed as a bookkeeper in Waterloo. The groom is also a graduate of the Strawberry Point high school and is serving in the U.S. Marines.

The new couple left Saturday morning for Los Angeles, Calif., where the groom is stationed.
