Kay Amann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Amann, Grand Rapids, Mich., and William Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Schneider, Elkader, were married Sunday evening, March 31, at the St. Paul's church in Garnavillo. The Rev. Urlab officiated. June Amann, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Jean Havertape was the bridesmaid. The groom's attendants were his brothers, Paul and Victor Schneider. Ushers were Dennis Butikofer and Ed Lenth.
A reception was held in the church basement, at which Mrs. Elaine Koss, aunt of the bride, cut the cake, and Mrs. Lucille Bahls, also an aunt of the bride, poured the coffee.
The bride is a graduate of the Garnavillo high school and is employed at the Farm Bureau office at Elkader. The groom was graduated from the Elkader high school and spent four years in the U.S. Navy in Korea, Japan and Philippine area.
