STRAWBERRY POINT: At the Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point, on Thur. evening, Feb. 21, Donald L. Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd L. Kramer of Strawberry Point. took as his bride Miss Lorena H. Gerdes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harm Gerdes, also of Strawberry Point. The Rev. S. J. Meyer officiated. Mrs. John Gerdes played nuptial music on the organ. The groom's sister-in-law, Mrs. L. Kramer of Elkader, attended the bride, and Edwin Gerdes, brother of the bride, served as best man.

The bride graduated from the Strawberry Point high school and had been employed at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids for the past four years. The groom is also a graduate of the Strawberry Point high school and received his Bachelor's degree, Cum Laude, from Upper Iowa University at Fayette in 1951. He attended Drake Univ. and received the degree Juris Doctor in 1956. He served a year with the U.S. Marines immediately after graduating from high school and served three years in the Air Force following his graduation from Upper Iowa Univ., having been discharged as a First Lieutenant. He is now employed as an adjuster with the State Farm Mutual Ins. Co. of Bloomington, Ill., with headquarters in Waterloo.

After March 05, the couple will be at home at 218 Park View Boulevard in Waterloo.
