Meyer - Crawford marriage - 1957

Miss Linda Crawford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Crawford of Volga, became the bride of Keith Meyer, son of Carl Meyer and the late Mrs. Meyer, Feb. 05, at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Joyce Crawford of Waterloo, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Wayne Baumgartner, friend of the couple, was best man.

At the reception in the church basement, Mrs. Reuben Glawe, aunt of the groom, served the cake, and Mrs. Emil Hoth, aunt of the groom, and Mrs. Earl Lamphier, aunt of the bride, poured. Sandra Lamphier and JoAnn Glawe were in charge of the gifts.

Mrs. Meyer is a graduate of Volga City high school, while Mr. Meyer is a graduate of Elkader high school and is engaged in farming.
