DeSotal - Berns marriage - 1941

GARNAVILLO: At St. Joseph's church, Saturday, Miss Alice Berns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Berns, became the bride of Mark DeSotal, son of Mrs. Susan DeSotal of Guttenberg. The Rev. Scharphoff officiated. Miss Dorothy DeSotal, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and the Misses Edith Ann Matt and Marcella Rerns acted as bridesmaids. Their attendants were Vincent Hoeger and Joe Beck. Lorraine Berns, brother of the bride, acted as best man.

Mrs. DeSotal was graduated from the Garnavillo high school and her husband from St. Mary's high school in Guttenberg.
