Miss Virginia Meisner, daughter of Mrs. Oscar Meisner and the late Oscar Meisner, Elkader, became the bride of Norris Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Larson, also of Elkader. The ceremony took place Sunday, April 25, at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Preceding and during the ceremony Miss Geraldine Hulverson, cousin of the groom, sang several selections. The bride was given in marriage by her cousin, Carl Coffman, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Miss Joy Bush was bridesmaid, and Merlin Trehaus of Decorah served his uncle as best man. Faith Meisner, sister of the bride, was ring bearer. Ushers were Orval and Harry Larson, cousins of the groom.
Mrs. Larson is a graduate of the Elkader high school and attended Central State college at Edmond, Oklahoma. Her husband attended the schools of his community and has since been operating the home farm, where the new home will be made.
