Miss Leila Glawe became the bride of Richard Klinkenberg at Zion Lutheran church, Clayton Center, Jan. 19. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiated. Miss Imogene Glawe, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and the Misses Verda Mae Zurcher and Mardella Kluth were bridesmaids. Janet Ann Gruel was flower girl, and Gary Puffet was ring bearer. Lee Klinkenberg, brother of the groom, was best man, and ushers were Edward Lenth and Ivon Ihlenfeldt. The day also marked the 27th wedding anniversary of the brides parents. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Glawe and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Klinkenberg, all of St. Olaf.
The bride is a graduate of Farmersburg high school and Mr. Klinkenberg is a graduate of Elkader high school and served 15 months in the Marine corps. After their wedding trip the new couple will reside on a farm near St. Olaf.
