Barthelme - Webster marriage - 1946

BARTHELME, WEBSTER

The marriage of Miss Muriel Webster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Webster, Elkader, and Peter A. Barthelme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Barthelme of Ossian, was solemnized Tuesday, Oct. 15, at St. Joseph's church. The Most Reverend Edward A. Fitzgerald officiated. Their attendants were Mrs. Loring Carl of Cedar Falls, and Hugo Barthelme of Ossian, a brother of the groom. Ushers were Robert Allen and Wm. McTaggart.

The bride is a graduate of Elkader high school and junior college. Mr. Barthelme is a graduate of DeSales high school, and was released in May after four years of naval service. The couple will make their home in Ossian, where Mr. Barthelme is employed at the Ossian State bank.
