Nuptial vows uniting Miss Alison Orvis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Orvis, St. Olaf, Iowa, and Theodore J. de Buhr of Mason City, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harm E. de Buhr of Rockford, Iowa, were spoken Oct. 06 at the Evangelical Lutheran church. The Dr. S. J. Strandjord officiated. Miss Mary Ann Larson, niece of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmatron was Mrs. Robert Goodsell of Nashua, sister of the groom. Linda Goodsell, niece of the groom, was flower girl, and Gregory Goodsell, nephew of the groom acted as ring bearer. Robert Goodsell of Nashua, served his brother-in-law as best man. Ushers were Dean Orvis, Richard Orvis, Roger Larson, nephews of the bride, and Thomas Wilke, cousin of the bride.
After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. de Buhr will be at home in Rockford, Iowa.
