Mettile - Finnegan marriage - 1946

METTILE, FINNEGAN

Miss Kathleen Finnegan, daughter of Mrs. Mary Finnegan of McGregor, and John Mettile, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mettile of Harpers Ferry, were married Tuesday, at the St. Mary's church with the Rev. V. J. Peters officiating. Attendants were Virginia Gronau of Dubuque, and Marcellus Finnegan of Des Moines, brother of the bride.

The bride graduated from the Marquette high school. She has lived in McGregor the past few years, working in Des Moines for two years. Mr. Mettile worked with his father on a farm and now has his own farm near Waterville. After a short trip the couple will make their home on the farm.
